GMS is now accepting submissions to be considered for the upcoming 2025 board election. Please see details for eligibility criteria below! 


 GMS will be holding board elections October 24, 2025- November 11, 2025 .


Four (4) board seats are available this election cycle.

 One (1) current board member, Lindsay Wolfington is running for re-election.

 Three (3) current board members have finished their terms and are not seeking re-election: Todd Porter, Aminé Ramer and Madonna Wade- Reed.
 

Remaining on the board are: Melissa Chapman, Danny Exum, Heather Guibert, Joel C High, Jonathan Leahy, Howard Paar and Jennifer Smith
 

For the 2025 Board election, members eligible to run for the board may be:

  • Freelance Members
  •  Corporate Members in the fields of Entertainment Marketing, Advertising and Video Games, who perform the daily duties associated with the role of a Music Supervisor and do not work in-house at a studio (a studio is defined as a company that produces Films, TV, Video Games, or Advertisements).

Board Election 2025 Timeline 

  • Friday, October 3  Board Submission portal opens
  • Friday, October 17 - deadline for board application submissions
  • Submissions are reviewed for eligibility by the confidential Blue Ribbon Committee
  • Friday, October 24  - Board nominees announced and Voting ballots opens
  • Friday, November 7, 8pm PST- Voting ballots close 
  • Tuesday, November 11 - Voting results announced 
  • January 1st, 2026 - Newly elected board members become active
